An Art Thief has struck in Bovey Tracey, snatching a precious gold and enamel miniature picture ‘of unusually high value’ in broad daylight. Orkney Jewellery Designer Re-Creates Rare Pictish Necklace

A young Orkney jewellery designer has re-created a rare, 1,400-year-old Pictish necklace, the original of which is kept within the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. Zoe Davidson crafted her 1kg solid silver version of the famous Whitecleugh Chain, discovered in Lanarkshire in 1869, after a personal commission from Orkney archaeology tour guide, Caz Mamwell. Troll Bridge Public Art Commission The Council is calling for artists to submit applications to design and sculpt a replacement troll for the Riverside Walk Troll Bridge in Andover. Now nearly 20 years old, the current troll is rotting and wearing away. On Saturday 3rd December we are putting on a Christmas market to coincide with Xmas lights getting turned on.
